Who I am and what is TRAIN?

My Story

Movement has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started gymnastics at 3, explored dance, cheer, and softball throughout my childhood and high school, and at 18, I turned a childhood dream into reality when I made the Golden State Warriors’ NBA dance team. I spent three years dancing professionally, an experience I’m incredibly grateful for.

In my early 20s, my relationship with my mind and body became deeply complicated. I was battling an eating disorder and spent more than a decade working through it, alongside anxiety, depression, and other mental health struggles. My recovery came through education and movement, but most importantly, by learning how to show up for myself and love myself again.

I went back to school, earned my bachelor’s degree from ASU in Health Science, and became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. Along that journey, I learned that the relationship we build with ourselves inside eventually shapes the way we experience life around us.

Strength training taught me to appreciate all the badass things my body could do, rather than judging its worth by how it looked. Learning to properly nourish my body taught me that nutrition isn't about restriction, it's about giving my body the fuel it needs to grow stronger. Prioritizing rest and recovery taught me that stillness and taking care of yourself aren't weaknesses; they're the foundation for becoming stronger, healthier, and more resilient. That shift changed everything, not just my body, but my mindset, my relationship with myself, and ultimately, my entire life.

That’s why I became a fitness coach. That’s why I built TRAIN.

I combined everything I’ve learned through my own journey, years of coaching, and my background in tech to create TRAIN. At its core, TRAIN is about building a stronger, healthier life through sustainable movement, nourishing your body, and taking care of your whole self. Not perfection. No quick fixes. Just becoming the strongest, most empowered version of you.
